A dear old friend is saying goodbye tomorrow, leaving for a younger more ambitious Nations 2.0 to take over.
April 26th is the date, and the time is somewhere between 17:00 and 20:00 UTC.
It’s tough to say goodbye to a persistent world that has been going for a few years, but Petram will be re-incarnated in what I strongly believe to be a vastly superior state. Both in terms of balance and gameplay features.
A lot of nations grew to greatness in the Old World, and I hope the New World will spawn grandeur as well. For those who want to share their memories I created a thread in the forums to reminisce about the Old World, talk about the 2.0 release, and everything else that feels relevant in a time like this.
I’m dead scared about tomorrow, but I hope you are looking forward to starting anew in greener pastures.
See you in Petram,

Nations is new, 2.0 is released, but many of the players remain. Thank you for that! As a token of gratitude I announced a few months ago a prize draw for players that stayed active in the final days of Nations 1.0. The results are in, and if you won, claim your rewards!
A new dawn is upon us, as Nations 2.0 finally is live. The Beta days are no more. This does not mean that there won’t be bugs or issues, though! If you find any, or are in general just in need of help, head over to the forums where fellow players and staff are more than willing to help.
After almost 6 years of development, Nations is stepping out of the baby beta shoes and into a fully fledged 2.0 release, with new and faster UI, tons of new features, and a completely rebalanced battle system, to name some of the changes. Let’s take a look at how we got here!
This weekend a Public Test Realm (PTR) was launched, which means you can try out new features before they are officially released!
Found a bugged battle? Maybe your division is lost in the nether? Or a fellow player has uploaded a flag that is inappropriate? The new ticketing system makes it easy to get help from the game staff.
More versatility in defense is in focus as the new patch is closing in on release.
In wars and battles information is crucial. And now, for the first time ever in Nations, your epic battles can be watched in real-time by anyone, all over the world. You can even exchange opinions and banter.
